joakim is a guy i'v met on tibia whiles hunting necro's we kinda worked on each others nerves:P but after talking for a bit about why the problems evolved we kinda got into a talk to each other and found out that he was a pritty cool dude also after we talked for a while we found out that we played much of the same games becouse he used to play dota and i also play it i used to play starcraft and he loves it ( i dont stand a change against him in starcraft :o ) hes a great guy that you can trust.

Joakim is a very essence of a friend that anyone could ask for. I have known Joakim now for almost 6 years. Our relationship has far surpassed the days of CSMapping. I will always remember Joakim as being hard worker, kind, professional, and charismatic.

Joakim has always been a hard worker; I have personally experienced this by the development of his written and spoken English skills. Since I began speaking with Joakim his English Vocabulary has become extensive and quiet impressive. Joakim is interested in a lasting education and to this day presents me with questions pertaining to the English language.

Since I developed a friendship with Joakim we have sought to keep communication between us strong as we both live very separate lives on two different sides of the world. Joakim is always very kind and remembers me at Christmas time. Sending each other Christmas cards is a tradition I hope never fades from this friendship as he is a long-lasting friend.

Of the many personality traits that Joakim possess his Professionalism stands out. Since I've known Joakim he has always working on various projects between personal programs, blogs, or school projects. Joakim has the personal discipline to keep up to date on his personal projects and work hard to produce a quality final product.

If you ever look to surround yourself with someone who always has an interesting prospective on life and all topics of conversation Joakim is the person you seek. While always in a good mood he is prepared with a pep talk to cheer you up. It is clear that Joakim surrounds himself with people who care as much for him and he cares for them.

Joakim is the man I got to know simply as "J0k3" while playing online and I had never guessed our relation-ship would develop as it did. Especially since I promised myself to stop dating for a while. But still, he was in my head immediately, rejecting to leave anytime soon. And he didn't to this day - something I am really happy about.
He is amazing in many ways: Even though he's never been used to exhibiting his emotions a lot in his family, he is one of the most emotional people I know. And belive me, that surprised me a lot! I even told him once that he is perfect in every way but that I believe he wasn't too emotional, which would be a problem. Turns out I couldn't be more wrong.
And not only is he emotional - he is the nicest person I know. He would never say "no" to you, if you asked him for a favor nor would he stay quiet if someone was treated unrespectfully. He is a good guy; one of the few our modern-day world has got left.
And as if that wasn't enough, he is very handsome, romantic and intelligent as well.
And he is mine.
He makes me want to be the best person I can be and for that I am very grateful.
I will never forget him.

I am not going to say I know J0k3 well, because I don't. I am not going to say when and how we met, because most of you reading this aren't interested. I am only going to say what I think about him.

Have you ever been angry and annoyed (because you are constantly dying in DotA :P) and then you hear a voice that completely soothes you and calms you down? Have you ever heared someone say «SHICKEN» in a so funny and cute way that you must start laughing loud? Have you ever met a guy who is so positive about everything, you have feeling that glinch of this positiveness is passing to you when you talk to him?

J0k3 is a rare type! My best internet buddy, and a guy I would like to meet irl. If I had one gift that I could give you, j0k3, it would be the ability to see yourself as others see you, because only then would you know how extremely special you are.

I got to know J0k3 in the winter of 2006 and ever since he has been one of my closest friends. I resently found out that I am that kind of a person to gather few, but very good friends instead of a lot but not so close ones. That made me think again that J0k3 absolutely fit were he his - in that handful of people that I treasure in my life.

It was a long time now since we met and I do miss you alot, even though we do not talk that much any longer. I remember the times when I played Pro Skater 4 and at the same time played truth or dare with you over the phone. We laughed a lot. Do you remember that?

You are one of my idols, you really are. I can recall countless of times when I felt down because of my lack of self-esteem, and then I suddenly saw your grinning face in front of me, speaking of someone you truly owned just by mere existing because you are made of awesome. I could not help but to smile everytime you acted that way, and I decided that one day I would be able to compare to your way of thinking and treasure myself more. It is working, but not as fast as I wish for it to.

Nevermind. You support me and would listen anytime if I needed you to. I think that I am one damned lucky woman to have you as my friend. Thank you so much.

Well... i met Joakim a long time ago... when I was a little noob in tibia xD. I bought the full noblewoman outfit, and joakim LOVES that dress.. so he started to talk me just a little bit in edron. Only said "nice dress milady" xD.

Then sometime before I bought a mermaid comb from him, and I dont know why but we started to talk a lot. Time passed... and we became friends. Im so happy that i bought that dress, cuz im sure that without it he will not be my friend today.

who is j0K3? O.O my best friend ofc!!! :D he is there for me always... ALWAYS.. the first thing i do when i have a problem is to talk with him.. He is such a nice person. Joakim is sweet, kind, helpfull, honest... and a lot more. If u got a problem u should talk to him, cuz he is one of the first person that is there for me anytime I have a problem... And any time and any hour he is there for me, thats why I LOVE YOU JOAKIM :DDD.

I know I will see Joakim in rl someday xD cuz i must OWN him in mario kart >:P! but he is so scared!!!!! muahahaah... he knows i will own him o.o.

I met joakim in tibia while he was posting in trade "Buy bps explos and search an explos provider" when he was lvl 60 and I lvl 40 from that moment, we began to have a good relation like friends and now from more than 7 months I dont see him in rl but I know that he is best person that I meet in tibia and he is very pleasant and friendly. I hope that we meet some day in rl. :D

J0k3, the story of my life. I have known him since i was born, we probably share the same bed when we were only a few month. But it is strange some how, we are not really family but i have always seen him as my little brother though he is older then me. I have met Joakim while playing tibia. I've heard alot of him, and after years he didnt log in, I saw him. I introduced myself, and we became good friends:). We talked a lot on MSN, and I can entrust him anything now, and he with me also ofcourse ;). Im promised him to go to Sweden once I am alowed to go:). I hope this friendship wont ever break =*=))

I guess it's time that I write about you, J0k3. It's strange how you can get to know a person and just instantly feel that you connect. I guess that's what happened with j0k3. He felt like the male version of me. Or well, maybe a bit more addicted to games, and nicer to people in general. It felt like we opened up after just a few minutes of chatting, and now I've got no problem talking to him about anything. In fact it’s odd that you can feel that you trust someone fully when you barely know the person. How odd it might be, that’s the way it is. He’s just a trustworthy person, atleast to those who treat him right. And I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t want to, since he’s the kind of guy that really makes you smile. He has been there for me, even though he doesn’t have any obligations to me.
That’s what makes a good friend. Which I consider him to be, despite the fact that I’ve known him for such a short time. Lots of love from Lotta.

I first got to know Joakim in school, the second year of upper secondary school our classes were merged into one big class. At first I didn't really talk to him a lot but after a while we started to talk to each other and to play Counter-Strike and Nukezone since that was what all the boys in our class did at the time.
Time went by and we became better friends as we had many lessons together. We started having LANs and Joakim became the best friend I had, someone who I could talk to about anything. Even emotions, as you know a lot of boys thinks talking about emotions is kind of lame. Since then he is my bestest friend, and he will be until death does us apart, if my predictions are correct.

well.. who is Joakim? That's a question I am asking myself right now, since I don't know him irl. But we've been talking about a lot of things the last months on the internet, about a lot of things, and I know that if there is something that I can tell everyone about who is Joakim, this thing is: HE IS A REALLY GOOD PERSON!!! He likes computer games and he likes making people on his surrounding feel better. He is an amazing person, and if you are lucky enough to meet him irl, enjoy! He is really a good friend.

I first met j0k3 on tibia (pandoria) where he was some noob who kept asking me to summon ghouls for him :P... however after he started to talk to me more i realised he is a really nice guy and we began to hang out alot.. having long conversations on tibia and on msn!.. he then started to get really good at tibia and F BOMBED all the time!! :P we became bros on tibia and went on many hunts n stuff, but apart from tibia j0k3 is a great guy, CRAZY but still great :P

Well I think I'm one of few here that didn't meet J0k3 on the net for the first time. I've known j0k3 since we were about 8-9 years old and went to the same school here in Västerås. It all started with some time in front of "Elitserien 95" (an hockeygame by ea sports on Sega Megadrive) and some tennis on the tenniscourt that was between our houses. Yes you read right - J0k3 can be athletic. We've alos had many long walks completly lost in the woods outside of Västerås just because we wanted to see what was on the other side. And of course many long nights in front of computers (diablo2, Transport tycoon deluxe) and in front of our playstations (tekken3 mostly). The most significant thing with j0k3 - beside his kindness and the trust you can put in to him - is his "madness" you never know what crazy things will happen when you spend time with him. And well with Jocke it's fun all the time. Sadly we've spent too little time with each other over the last couple of years but hopefully that will turn around somtime soon =)

I got to know J0k3 via Jojj. I met him for the first time the summer 2006 and by just seeing him I knew he is a guy full of energy and a incredibly good friend. I havent got to know him very well but I hope I will. You should know that what I feel for you as a friend is that you are a very good friend and are always there for everyone! I got to know J0k3 via his exgirlfriend, my friend Martina. My first memory with him is a night when he, Ola, Martina and me played truth or dare on MSN. The first time i met him was the summer 2005, when he came down to live with Martina during the summer. J0k3 is a very nice and caring person. With him I can talk about anything. He is a impulsive person, he can get the most crazy ideas, wich is really fun, he can get any sad or angry person on better mood. I think me and J0k3 always have fun together, and I hope he think so too. He is one of the persons who I chose to talk to when something is not right or when I need to talk, because I know he always listens. He is one of my best friends and I hope he always will. Love <3

J0k3, is a swedish mapper who I barely remember where I first met. Obviously it must have been back when I was rather active within mapping. What I do remember is that he later joined the SoW project (which Zacker at some point got to be in charge of). J0k3 was making this counter-strike map called something with nbz, though I dont remember the excact name. The poit is that it was detailed, looked good and had amazing gameplay. Later I remember it was converted in to a SoW map. Anyway, J0k3 has been there when I needed some feedback for my own maps, and because of his experience, he has proven to be a valuable help in the creation of both de_crgo and de_slap. It is people with skills like j0k3 who keeps my mapping comunity live and well. My thanks to Joakim Engfors.

My friendship with the fine young man who calls himself J0k3 goes long back. Well no maybe it's not really THAT many years, but with J0k3 it feels as if he has been a good friend of mine forever.

We met each other on the now gone Nuclearbox forums where we discussed our love for counterstrike, bots and mapping. J0k3 was already back then a well known level designer, while I was the apprentice. Mapping is tough as hell to learn, but with the help of J0k3 it worked out nicely.
Since then it has been one wild ride together on other forums, games and on the Sands of War mod. I only hope that it will continue:)

I really don't know. All I know is that he's swedish, gamer, mapper and a poet :P .

I've meet him through Sands of War, where I joined as a beta-tester (later mapper and coder), where he was one of the lungs in the forum (the other lung was the rest of the crew :P). He's for sure one of the reasons why Sands of War is still alive today :) .

I don't know J0k3 IRL and have only chatted with him in the time we've known eachother. Great dood to talk to :) .

I almost went to Dreamhack in sweden (around 1000km away) just to meet him (but school came in the way :( ). Maybe I will come some day in the future...

I've met J0k3 on tibia (saphira). When we met in the beginning, we hardly talked with eachother. But the last months we have talked a lot with eachother, and got to know eachother more and more. And J0k3 is becomming a very special friend for me. We can talk about anything and always make eachother laugh when we didnt had good times. I met J0k3 for the first time in tibia at hydra spawn. They asked me if I Wanted to sio Ias for manas. And I did it. Then we became good friends and I joined their guild.
