moving to germany

So here I am now, sitting in Germany, my new home. We (Toni, her mom, me, Petra, JT and his girlfriend) just had a really great time together where we were talking about movies, solving riddles and by just being social (wtf?). I have made a huge leap towards being an adult now > Moved to another country - moved in with my girlfriend - got myself a job - got away from the security my parents always gave me.
The last couple of days in Sweden consisted of packing/moving/cleaning/traveling, it was alot of work but totally worth it (my mom helped us out sooooo much, thank you so much for that!). The firsts days in Germany has been about unpacknig/work/settle down/loving life. I am so happy here, it is really amazing. We live in a beautiful appartment that Antonias mom and Petra prepared for us, they spent many weeks and put down alot of work into making it as amazing as it is today. When they showed us around it was like being in "Extreme Home Makeover", it is so damn great! Toni got me Coca-Cola glasses, she loves me so much! :)

To leave Sweden was harder then I expected (still very easy though I must admit - I had been waiting for that day for quite some time), swallowed many tears when saying goodbye to mom, it was nothing as I had planned in my head, I planned a very emotional goodbye but that never came true. Schade.

Errh nevermind. It was very emotional from my end, but I didnt show it, thats what I meant.. ah, well.. proceed!

I have been at the kindergarten once so far, gona work there for a year and tomorrow I have to get up around 6am, bah!
But I am very glad I have got this oppertunity, the staff there is very friendly and helpfull and the kids are lovely! I hope that I can learn the language alot faster by spending alot of time with the kids there. I am so lucky to have been given this oppertunity, it rocks! Kids ftw!

I have been trying to speak german more often and listen more intensely to others conversations and come to a conclusion: Kaufhaus + Zukunft != Genuk.
I think I am doing pretty fine, but I am quite rude when I talk to people, I always forget to say Sie instead of du.

world of warcraft

I have been playing World of Warcr --- wait for it --- aft THE BOARDGAME! And it is absolutely brilliant, legendary, amazing, great! I love it, it is so much fun. Antonia, JT (I missed him alot, great fun to see him again) and I play together and hopefully we will be able to recruit more geeks to join us in our epic war!



shoppingspree

Well well, since my keyboard got crushed during the flight I had to get myself a new one so I did. And while we were at MediaMarkt I thought about getting myself a new phone so I can listen to music while taking the buss to work, plus I need to be able to call ppl here without paying a fortune, but Toni - smart as she is - told me she could give me a german SIM-card for my old phone so we could buy a cheap-ass MP3player instead, so that we did. The keyboard is from Germany so that sucks alittlebut but luckily I learned to type without looking the keyboard many many years ago ^^. My new phonenumber btw is +491746504045.
