hurray for popcorn!



So, its finally January 10th again! I have held back with updating the blog till today so we can enjoy the day of the popcorn to the max! ;p Actually its not really enjoying it from my part, this feels alittle like a duty! Celebrate celebrate! The international popcornday!

I tried sweet popcorn. It was just as horrible as I had imagined. Salty popcorn ftw!

I remember when we started the whole thing, it was many many years ago when we were practically living at Quakenet. We were all hanging in #CSMapping idling/spamming/talking. For some reason, inbetween the Worldcraft/r_speeds/PODBot/movie discussions, we ended up talking about the lovely popcorn. Ofc we are all inlove with this brilliant little thing, and we decided to dedicate a day for it. It was January 10th many many years ago :P We even started writing PEM in our maps and stuff (Popcorn eating mappers), good times. Anyone else remember it? Or what year it all started? Egir, Franzy & Zacker?



year 2009

The end of 2008 was really nice, but I started to get sick as new-years eve drew closer. The 31st of december we met with some people and had a good time and ate nice food downstairs. But I fell asleep before midnight as always :P

My sickness has been really sucky, I wrote down a list of my symphtoms and we went to a doctor.

headache.

fever.

eyes hurting.

I often felt very very cold.

Sometimes I woke up at night all wet from sweat.

And sometimes I woke up cold as ice.

Heavy nosebleed

Coughing (aalot, and it huuuuuurt)

Sometimes I cough so much that I cant breathe, and then I feel like I have to throw up.

I could never sleep the whole night through.

No appetite (normal & sexual).

Diarrhoea.

Well, the whole thing sucked. I am feeling alot better atm though. When we came home from the doctor we had been given some antibiotics and inhalors. Almost right after we got home I started to take the medicine, and they made me throw up. Three times I threw up and then I started to bleed ALOT from my nose and we drove to the emergency when I started to cough blood. It was bleeding the whole way and it was pretty sucky, I didnt want to get blood on the seats! When we arrive at the hospital they said it was completely normal to spit blood etc, it was just blood rinning down my throat from inside (it taste bad and made me feel sick btw). After a littlebit of waiting I got examined and the nurse wanted to burn the blood-vessels to make the bleeding stop -"Try to sit still, it might hurt alittle" - OOOOMMMGGG it hurt like HELL! I started crying cuz it hurt so much! :P

That wasnt the worst thing though, but she FORBID me to blow my nose for two weeks! Thats a really annoying thing, especially when you have a cold! I am used to blow my nose like 40times/day.. I struggled really hard with it the first couple of days, then I got used to it, then I forgot about it and now Im ignoring it ;p

A couple of days after I returned to the doctor, they wanted to take some bloodsamples to see what the hell is wrong with me, cuz I'm ALWAYS sick - I was really worried, I hate to give blood, it always hurt so damn much and the nurses always have to try around atleast twice before they manage to suck my body dry, but this time it went really really well, no pain at all. Yay! Finally.

I have an appointment with the doctor again the 19th of January, then they will check my lungs and stuff, I hope things will go well. I am feeling much better now and I am actually looking forward to get back to work! Its been really sucky to be feeling sick and sit home all day. I want to play with the kids in the snow before it dissapears again!

lans & stuff

Since the last update, my PC has been crashing atleast one time and I had to reinstall Windows and all again, it sucks, but atleast this time I didnt lose any files.
I've installed weird things this time - Quake3, EVE-Online and Age of Empires 2 were on my PC before Starcraft/Winamp/Photoshop!

I have attended at two LAN-parties (and I met JayDee while being awake! not at a LAN but anyway), played alittle of Dota, two rounds of Quake and tried to get AOE2 to work, but we didnt succeed with that (Didnt bring my CD). It was kinda nice to meet like that, but the gaming itself wasnt really the best.
I managed to talk Antonia into trying EVE-Online with me, the intro gave us goosebumps and creating a character was alot of fun! After that, we got bored and never started the game again.
Another weird thing that I've installed is Pidgin, Im currently using it instead of MSN and I love it! I got familiar with it via Ubuntu @ school.
oh lol I even installed Steam!! Ive been playing around alittle with Hammer 4! I sucked alot.

movies, shows & books

Toni has been tutoring at school lately so I've been home alone alot lately and therefore had time to watch alot of movies.. Some of them I've seen with others and some of them I've seen alone..

The Incredible Hulk - I had no expectations for this movie at all, but we needed something to watch while we were eating our delicous kebab! I saw it together with Antonia, JT, Katrin and Millow, it was bad. But it was worth the sitting down, cuz the food was reaaally nice, even if the fries werent made as I had anticipated.

Pulp Fiction - Antonia and I had never seen this movie so Millow made us see it, she fell asleep and I also had a hard time staying awake. I didnt like the movie, but on the other hand I didnt really get it.

Jeff Dunham's Very Special Christmas Special - I started watching this by random, the only thing I had ever seen from Jeff before was the dead terrorist stuff on Youtube. I was positively surprised and laughed pretty much while watching this! Especially the first 30 minutes or so, when he took out Achmed it was just getting worse and worse.

ATL - A movie I thought was about skateboarding and gang-drama turned out to be something different, and bad. But I saw it till the end for some weird reason.

How to Lose Friends & Alienate People - A really weird movie that I also saw to the end for some weird reason. But it was pretty entertaining in a weird way.

The King of Queens - Antonia showed me this show and I LOVE IT! We are already done with the first season and soon done with the second.

I also watched some documentary about kids self-esteem and self-confidence.. It was a bunch of rubbish. We also watched another episode of Project Runway, it was a semi-good one. We are also finished with the third Harry Potter book and have now started to read the fourth. Antonia is crazy about Harry Potter and I love it :D

work work

Ever since the day when it started to snow alot I've kind of started to miss being at work, I know it sounds really really weird but alot of the negative things about work has been lifted - I've been given new starting-times to make the traveling alot easier (Thanks Toni's mom for fighting for it!).. And today I got a package with the post.. It was a whole bunch of pictures that the kids had drawn for me, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahw so damn cuuuuuute! It was also a letter attached to it and it seems like they really miss me :)
Damn I love some of those kids, I miss em!
I've been thinking about the whole work-thing cuz Toni's mom has kind of hinted to me that I should quit and just stay home or find something else, cuz I get sick when Im there, aaall the time. But I didnt bite on the golden oppertunity, cuz I want to work there, I really do. Even if it sometimes suck.

antonia and I

It has been really hard for Antonia the last week.. I've been ill and grumpy, hard to satisfy and always complaining... She has been (in her head) responsible for her whole class math-grade, and been tutoring them WHILE being really sick herself. Its been alot of drama.. And I havent really been strong for her when shes been needing me. Ive just been tired and unfocused. But today I feel like I am really on my way to get well, and I am gona be there for her like I always wanted to! I love her soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much! We are soon moving to Sweden and it causes her alot of stress, because moving away from her family is a big deal to her even if she doesnt really know it herself. I hope we will be able to go visit everyone alot more often than we have been able to visit my parents during this half year, I think everything will be OK. We can make it work :) You and me Antonia, nothing is impossible! Love you with all my heart!

I want to say something about three people that are important to me:

IAS says: "Cash is KING!" - well, he didnt really say that, but he won alot of money on the homepage KING!

The last thing is about me! I SUCK AT DOTA ATM! I know it sounds unbelivable, but its true.
