snow everywhere

There is tons of snow here right now. Every day when I have school I put on my scarf, jacket and headphones. I've a newfound love, Conscious Youth.



It's really beautiful here. The snow is so deep, it's almost up to my hips - at some points even up to my elbows (Dom kallar mig överdrivarN). I'm walking towards school, feeling the sunshine on my face, seeing the clearblue sky and the birds flying around in the fresh air. My mind starts traveling as my body is bouncing/dancing forward to the tunes from the headphones.. I start seeing myself running in the deep snow on the rooftops leaping between the brick buildings, every now and then sliding, megaman-style, under the avalanches from the higher buildings. Haha, my fantasy can be so wild! I love it though. Having tons of fun, imagining myself to do those Matrix-leaps and just barely make it by landing with my upperbody and do a somersault.



Then all of a sudden I'm standing outside the entrance to school and its time to enter real life again.

Last week we ended our first course with our presentations. We passed, felt good. The first course was everything I hoped for, I had fun and it made me think alot. The course was pretty perfect with the exception of two things: the literature and my group. The reason the literature wasnt perfect is because it sucked. Such a boring and difficult book! Luckily it wasnt like you had to read it from cover to cover. The group I worked with was good because we discussed alot and got very far by just talking, I like that, but it didnt at all feel like we all contributed equally much. Could definitely have been better but oh well, atleast everyone tried.

I have started two new courses now, one voluntary, which is about learning how to improve your study habits and techniques. I took it mostly to get some easymode points incase something fucks up with CSN (study funding) but it turned out to be somewhat fun, and the assignments are ridiculously easy. Today I met with my group to work some on the task which we have been given, and I feel way more confident with this group, pro?fit!

The other course is "Education and Society", its a pedagogics course and has the same instructor/supervisor as the first course, which is bloody awesome since he is kick-ass good (yeah, he reminds me alot of myself). He makes things real interesting and explains very well, he isnt the typical teacher stereotype. In this course we are gona work on a project that will require alot of work, but its somewhat focused on imagination and creativity, which sounds pretty neat if you ask me.
I guess you get my drift, I'm enjoying school - even though it cant at all compare to how much fun I had when I studied in Västerås with my friends there. But then it was all about the friendship and nothing at all about the courses themselves.

The first assignment in the study technique course was to write a letter about ourselves and how we learn things best. That woke some utterly wonderful memories. We had so much fun, everyday, but we sucked in school. Its unfortunate that I dont see them so often anymore, gotta change that! (TV-spelskväll hos Ryman, kk?)

sexy dreads

Antonia and I have for a long time talked about how dreads would fit her really well. Some women can look very very sexy in dreads and I am certain that Antonia is one of them. So we have ordered a starter kit with everything we need to work some magic on her! Anyone got experience who wants to come help? It will probably take like ten hours or so, so it would be pretty sweet to have someone to help, so we can take turns.

letter to germany

It's been a long time now since I heard anything from the kids in the kindergarten in germany. I wrote them a letter the other day, telling them about how schools going etc and that I miss them. One thing thats unfortunate about Antonias mom moving to Spain is that we wont go to Germany as often anymore, so I cant go visit them. I want to jump rope with them!

gaming - starcraft2

It's finally here... The Starcraft2 beta!



It came a few days ago, I've been watching some videos and it looks great. If anyone has a key I would really appreciate if I could borrow it for a couple of hours or so. But tbh I am starting to look more forward to Diablo3 than SC2.
Hopefully there wont be any fuss with the tournament licence, because I would really like to see some of the oldschool pro-gamers pick up SC2 asap and have some tournaments up to watch! Especially if Superdanielman and Tasteless could cast it. Boxer vs Stork, Bisu vs Flash, July vs Hwasin, the list goes on, gogo!

gaming - heroes of newerth

I havent played an awfull lot of HoN lately, mostly because I have played tons of Tibia. The few games I've played has been either extremely fun or very annoying. What I on the other hand have done, is starting to get myself a little bit up to date in the competitive scene, mostly because Poltto & Dreamrage is rocking it with their team Dirty Minds. In this particular game, Dreamrage is being masspro as always and getting tons of praise by the whole community, definitely worth checking it out.
HoN is a really good game, but its completely awfull to play if your not playing with atleast four friends all the time, which makes it kind of hard to find good games during the week.

gaming - tibia

Some old friends have started to play again and its sooo much fun! I've been playing very much lately (too much I guess..), but its starting to get frustrating to almost never have a blocker at service. Unfortunately the guy playing Ias'Knight is not at all trustworthy so we wont buy that character. Too bad, it would have been so perfect.

Well, we have lately had some fun for sure, doing all kinds of weird stuff. We have been hunting Lord of the Elements some, no loot yet but we're gona keep trying. One night we also ran into Ferumbras citadel which was quite insane because we didnt know how to get out of there :D We ended up going up to the very top.

ARGH! Been losing quite alot lately versus Ias! But today we played two games, the latter one resulting in a \quit from him, pwnd. The games are often very even nowadays and its really exciting (and exhausting). fyrk0 also installed Q3 again but he didnt really like it this time either ;(

We have seen a ton of movies lately. Why? Because we ran out of episodes on our shows ;(

Den Gyllene Stranden - A very interesting documentary about the technologys impact on society

Chuck - Awesome show, we really enjoyed it

An American Tail: Fievel Goes West - Showed it to Antonia, used to be one of my favourite movies

Lord of the Rings - We rewatched it, trying to only see the good things. Turned out to be AMAZING!

2012- I really liked this movie, alot

Armageddon - Rewatched it, got a thing for epic movies atm, great

Spy next door - New movie with Jackie Chan, turned it off after 5 minutes :(

The Rebound - Awesome movie, I really liked it. I want to have kids like them!

Rederiet - Dum dum, dudududum dum, dudududum dum.. Started watching it with Antonia!

The Butterfly effect - Rewatched it, goodie.

Survivor - Finally season 20 started! Heroes vs Villains! Gona be exciting. But no Ozzy (yet?) :(
